REALbasic
I am quite a fan of the REALbasic programming environment. In 1993 I had written a multimedia program to teach martial art techniques, it employed the use of QuickTime to deliver animated sequences as well as video footage to explain the techniques. It was conceived in Hypercard. Years later, with the decline of Hypercard on the Macintosh, I wanted to bring back "KARATEstack" but this time allow it to be run on Windows as well as on Macs. REALbasic delivers the promise of "write once, run anywhere". It allows you to build your application for either platform. The next version will include a build for Linux. This year, they brought out a version that runs on Windows, so Windows programmers can start porting their apps built in REALbasic to the Mac OS.

The Martial Arts Computer dojang (MACdojang) was featured in the Japanese publication "Mac People".

Web Programming
Besides HTML, my experience in the world of Web Development has exposed me to Javascript and Perl. During my ten months at Careguide.com, Perl was used extensively for the dynamic handling of web content. And at Connectix, web forms were handled by cgi based perl scripts, many of which I had to modify for new pages as they arose.

Future Endeavors
Currently I am studying PHP and SQL. I have another project in mind for REALbasic, and I have been commisioned to develop a program using REALbasic.
